Beef noodles in soup or chicken noodles?

Kah Hiong Ngiu Chap is one of the new restaurants we discovered in Bandar Puteri Puchong, somewhere near the Puteri Mart, and thought of giving it a try. It is a speciality restaurant that sells mainly beef noodles. Be it the sliced meat, tripe, tendon, intestine or other entrails, you could easily find it here to fix your crave. Since it’s a speciality restaurant and serves no pork, the menu limits to just 2 choices of chicken noodles for those who don’t take beef.

We ordered a Ngiu Chap soup noodles, a chicken noodles and add-on beef tripe. The Ngiu Chap soup noodle comes with assorted beef entrails like tripe, stew beef, sliced meat and beef ball. The beef soup base was tasty and the stew beef was tender. Although the menu is limited for those who don’t take beef, the chicken noodles was quite good and the portion is big for a small eater like me. The dry noodles smelt and tasted flavourful, probably they sautéed the noodles with the braised soy sauce chicken gravy.
