We were deciding between a nice café and a buffet for afternoon tea.
As we wanted better quality food and nice ambient for catching up, we decided to go to Nosh in Bangsar. Nosh serves the signature afternoon tea set on weekends from 3pm - 6pm.
Here's the afternoon tea set for two at RM 52. It came with a 3-tier stand filled with green tea cakes, banana cakes, chocolate pastries, freshly baked scones, sandwiches and canapé, served with coffee or tea at your preference. I love all the sweet treats so much, particularly the green tea and banana cakes. They are not too sweet, flavourful and just simply delicious!
I ordered a latte at RM 12 to complement the wonderful sweet treats. The texture and temperature of the latte is good.
We also ordered a smoked salmon with eggs from the brunch menu. It comes in good portion and the smoked salmon is good but not supreme.
We love their sweet treats so much so that we ordered luscious caramel walnut cheesecake at RM 18. The milky taste cheesecake is too sweet for me, did not quite like this.
The restaurant takes up the space of an intermediate shop lot and therefore the seating is limited. We were lucky it was not noisy when we visited the coffee shop. The staff were well-trained and the service was attentive. I will definitely re-visit Nosh for the afternoon tea set.
